Love is a minefield. You take a step and get blown to pieces, put yourself back together again and stupidly take another step. I guess that's human nature. It hurts so much to be alone that we'd all rather blow up than be single.

We have no say over the hand dealt us in life, but we do have a lot of control over how this hand is played. We are responsible for bringing out the meaning of our own lives in each moment that we live. Remember each moment happens only once and can never be retrieved again.

A man can fail many times, but he isn't a failure until he begins to blame somebody else.

OMG SCHOOL STARTS THIS FRIDAY AND I DIDNT DO ANY OF MY HOLIDAY HOMEWORK AND I WASTED MY HOLIDAY AWAY DOING NOTHING MEANINGLY OH WOE IS ME WHO WILL EVER COME AND SAVE ME FROM THIS PREDICTAMENT THAT IS THE STARTING OF SCHOOL THAT IS ON THIS FRIDAY THE SECOND OF JANUARY WHICH IS THE SAME MONTH O LEVEL RESULTS come... out..

Oh wait. I graduated already. No school... NO SCHOOL. YEAH. LOL. SUCKS TO BE YOU, BATCHES OF STUDENTS FROM THE YEAR 1993 onwards ! MUAHAHAH. Lol. That was fun. Rubbing it into the faces of students who have to go to school this friday.

Anyway,this post, this here post right here, is my 300th post! Lol. I specifically timed this 300th post to be the last one of the year 2008! Something special? Well, maybe I'll share some of my new year's resolutions.

No.1: Cut down on swear words.
Absolutely has to be first. To be one of refined vocabulary means I have to stop saying vulgarities lol. Except until i see something or someone whose word has no place to be described in the english vocabulary.
No.2: Watch what I say/do.
Apparently, others and myself have been catching me contradicting myself alot of times, especially in the case of basketball. It's time i corrected that, in the name of basketball.
No.3: Become stronger physically, mentally, and intellectually.
Meaning becoming a better person in all aspects of life. Not that hard to do.
No.4: Follow Through on my own promises.
Many a time I find myself falling into the temptation of sloth and gluttony. Eating a full meal after 9pm, not pushing myself to train, not training at all and the likes. In order for me to be a better person, I'll have to discipline myself to follow through.
No.5: Think absolutely through about important mattes before coming to a decision.
This year, I rushed alot of decisions. That ended up breaking a heart plus my own, and caused me some physical and mental pain. If you're reading this, you know who you are, I'm sorry I played with your feelings. I'm sorry I'm a fool. I hope we can still be friends, and not slip away as time goes by.
No.6: Laugh as long as I breathe, love for as long as I live.
Because life's too short to be spent moping about =).
No7: Always be true to myself.
Do not be afraid to be myself.
No.8: Learnt the guitar.
Already started =).
No.9: Live Life.
Because that's what we're here for.

It's only up till 9 because I didnt really think through about it until now =p. And I plan to end this post before 12am, so meh.Well, since the new year's coming, I guess I better thank some stuff =).

Firstly , I thank my mum for working long hours to feed me and my brothers, even though I did try to get a job, I ended up contributing no money in the end. I love you mummy!=)

I thank EVERYONE for being my friend. You are the people who have made my life worthwhile, the reasons I better myself and the motivation that keeps me going. Without you people, I would be but an empty shell of a man. And for all that, I thank you, giving each and everyone of you a sincere bow, figuratively. Oh, and I love all of you =)!

I thank Ivan, for continuing to make the effort to be friends with us even though you transfered. I thank you for enduring me being an asshole sometimes, and for laughing at my cold jokes for the sake of not embarassing me. I thank you for being there for me where others have never seen the other side of me. Most importantly, I thank you, for being one of my best friend =).

I thank my classmates and schoolmates whom I have kept in contact with till now, Nicholas, Jeredy, Ken Kiat, "Robert" Wei Qiang, Wei Chuan, Jing Xuan, Daryl Wong, Daniel, Zheng Hou, for being my close friends for this past year(s)! You guys were the reason I kept coming to school, because I always looked forward to spending time with all of you! Playing basketball, volleyball, studying together, lunching together, talking about guy stuff. Man. Those were the days. No doubt, I'll make my bestest effort into maintaining a relationship with you guys. Friends are friends forever =)!

I thank the A&E Family, for welcoming me and for giving me the chance to be absolutely myself. I don't think anything else can be said, because that's a big enough reason for me to thank you ^^.

I thank the school and the teachers and the canteen staff. They gave me a home for these past four years. They enriched me. Taught me the ways of the world. And now, as of this year, they have let me go, out on my own. I thank the teachers for critisizing me, for without them, I would never know what are my bad points. I thank MdmEng, for exposing a side of myself I never knew. Without her, I would still be that same snobby 15year old male chauvanist pig. I want to thank the basketball courts of the school, for giving me a place where I feel free. The random pickup games everyday with different people, taught me many different things.

To sum everything up, here's something I would have been too afraid to do.

I LOVE EVERYONE. I thank all of you for making the year 2008 special. HAPPY NEW YEAR, AND MAY ALL OF YOU BE BLESSED.
